I don’t know why we got so much milk, but this is the perfect excuse to make a homemade fresh cheese! 💃🏽 The process is so simple and satisfying, takes about 30-45 minutes from milk to cheese! I wanna know how do you call this cheese in your culture!

1 lemon

1 tbsp vinegar

¾ oz salt

1 gal full fat milk

Instructions

Bring the milk and salt to simmer, to be exact 190F or 94C. Turn off the heat, add the lemon and the vinegar. Close with the lid and let it sit for 10-15 minutes. Break the curd with a whisk and pass through a sieve. Drain for 10 minutes and here you got your homemade fresh cheese!
