Meatball Arayes

Preheat the oven to 400°F. In a large bowl, mix together the filling ingredients until well incorporated. Stuff the beef mixture into the pita pockets, dividing evenly for 8 arayes. In a nonstick skillet, heat the olive oil over medium high heat. Place the arayes meat-side down and cook until golden, 4 to 5 minutes. Place the arayes all on their side and transfer the skillet to the oven. Bake for 5 minutes, then flip the arayes to the other side and bake for another 5 minutes. Transfer to a platter and serve with marinara sauce for dipping.
