I grew up eating LOTS of “Pig in a Blanket”. In Israel we call it “Moshe Ba’teva” which means “Moses in a Basket”. They are basically the same concept. “Moshe Ba’teva” is made with kosher hotdog and margarine flaky roll. While “Pig In a Blanket” is usually made with a soft roll and pork hotdog, I’ve created a hybrid between the “Pig in a Blanket” and “Moshe Ba’teva”. The end result is a kosher hot dog rolled in a soft bun. It results in a very easy and fun recipe that everyone can make. You can’t go wrong with this dish! Who the hell doesn’t like hotdogs and bread?!
